Why dogs love it here
The Schoorl Dunes welcome dogs all year round: endless paths through woods and dunes. From 1 September to 1 March your dog may run off the lead there, as long as it comes when called. During the breeding season, from 1 March to 1 September, dogs must be kept on a lead.
On the beach at Camperduin your dog may run free all day from 1 October to 1 May. From 1 May to 1 October, dogs may run free before 10 am and after 7 pm.
The best season for a holiday with your dog? Spring and autumn, when the beach is quiet and the dunes are at their most beautiful.
A fenced terrace: safe off the lead, at home too
Every apartment has its own fully fenced terrace. Your dog can lie there safely off the lead while you enjoy a coffee, without having to keep watch. Inside, everything has been renovated and is easy to keep clean.
Clear agreements, no surprises
One dog is welcome per apartment. You simply add your dog to your booking for €7 per night plus a €25 cleaning fee, and that is all: our prices are otherwise all-in. We ask you to keep your dog on a lead on the grounds and off the furniture. That way it stays fresh for every guest, with or without a dog.

Can my dog come to the beach at Camperduin?
Yes. From 1 October to 1 May your dog is welcome on the beach all day, off the lead too. From 1 May to 1 October your dog may run free on the beach before 10 am and after 7 pm. In the Schoorl Dunes dogs must be on a lead from 1 March to 1 September; outside that period they may run free if they come when called.
Is the terrace really fully fenced?
Yes, every apartment has its own fully fenced terrace. Your dog can be off the lead there safely without you having to keep watch. Relaxing for you and for your dog.
How much does it cost to bring my dog?
You add your dog to your booking for €7 per night, plus a one-off €25 cleaning fee per stay. That is all: our prices are all-in, so there are no other costs. One dog is welcome per apartment.
What are the house rules for dogs?
We ask you to keep your dog on a lead on the grounds, to keep it off the furniture and beds, and not to leave it alone in the apartment. That way it stays fresh and quiet for every guest.
Which apartments are dog-friendly?
Your dog is welcome in Duindroom, Duingeluk and Duinroos. These apartments are on the ground floor, with the fenced terrace right next to the living room.
